Registration Is Now Open for the 2020 ARU-HRI Virtual Annual Conference
November 9-10, 2020
Greetings fellow ARU-HR Institute members! It’s hard to believe that fall has come and many of us are experiencing the ‘new normal’ on our respective campuses. I hope that your efforts have been met with many successes and that your organizations are taking in lessons learned in order to prepare for spring.
If this pandemic has done anything positive, it has reawakened our institutions to the importance and impact that HR can have within our workforce and our business. These events have been a reminder of the contribution HR leaders make everyday in our work to build resiliency, adaptability and concern for the well-being of our employees. These are the traits that higher ed will need to weather this storm, and HR is on the front line delivering the goods. To all of you, I and the board of ARU-HR Institute say, “kudos to you” for all of your hard work and perseverance!
This November at our annual ARU-HR Institute conference we will be online to help you expand your contribution further. Join us November 9-10 for our first virtual annual conference and contribute your expertise to developing a world-class CHRO model for higher education. Hear from Roger Ferguson, president and chief executive officer of TIAA, as he talks about “What’s Next.” Our Founder’s Session (named for ARU-HRI founder Ken Hutchinson) features University of Washington President Ana Mari Cauce.
Don’t miss this chance to share your thoughts with your colleagues and hear from each other about solutions to both new and everyday challenges. This year’s fee for attending online is $200, and registration is now open. Registration will close October 30.
We look forward to seeing you online and learning from you during this extraordinary time!
